I would like to introduce myself and my company to you. My name is Wendy Deras and I am the President and owner of Envision Education, LLC. We offer livescan fingerprinting, American Heart Association CPR and First Aid, state CNA testing and training for healthcare providers.
1. Complete a NNAAP application and a $100.00 money order to Regional Testing Center available at http://regionaltestingcenter.org
2. The day of the state test, make sure to bring a non-expired photo ID and SS card with matching names, along with the original state form (283B or DHS99/CDPH99).
3. Practice the written and skills portion before taking the test. A practice the written test and a list of all skills are available free at www.ncsbn.org. Click on NNAAP and MACE exams and then click on NNAAP.

4. Come to day of test prepared to stay length of day, wear uniform or scrubs. No one else may come to test site but tester.

What is Live Scan Fingerprinting?
Live scan fingerprinting is the process of capturing fingerprints electronically with our advanced live scan machine. With live scan fingerprinting, there is no ink or card. Your fingerprints are “rolled” across a glass plate and scanned. It is faster, cleaner, and more accurate than the old ink and roll method.
LiveScan fingerprinting is done by appointment only, fees vary depending on the reason for LiveScan request.
You must bring the paperwork from the agency requesting the LiveScan, we DO NOT have that paperwork and CANNOT complete your LiveScan without it.
The accepted payment methods due to COVID-19 are Apple Cash or cash only.
A valid form of photo identification (Driver's License, state Identification Card or U.S. Passport required. No identification can be expired).

DESCRIPTION
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.

About the Trainer
Wendy Deras is a Master’s prepared RN with over 27 years of teaching experience. She is both a National League of Nursing Certified Nurse Educator as well as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric Mental Health Therapy. She is also certified as a trainer by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners to offer the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Seminar, a mandatory class to apply to be a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
